Happy Belated World Card Making Day!

Did you all make cards yesterday?  How many cards did you make?  I wanted to sit and make cards all day - but of course, that didn't happen.  I did manage to create some cards though - as Paper Crafts magazine is issuing a World Card Making Day challenge. It was to make a Thank You card with the colors orange or yellow on it some way and then upload it to the link on the Facebook post by Oct 4th, and one random winner will win a cool prize! So that's what I did.

I used a flower file from SVGCuts September Afternoons Collection, embossed the backing cardstock with distressed stripes, and sprayed with Tattered Angels Tattered Leather.  It was also sewn at the edges (my new favorite techinique!).

  1. What a fab cards... would be a great card for a man as well with that colour combo. I didn't make cards on WCMD, but I bought card making goodies. Does that count? :)

This is such a cute simple card. Isn't sewing on cards so much fun?

  3. Hi there, Thienly!
This is a great card. It's one of those deceivingly clean cards. It's got all kinds of cool stuff going on, but it's done in clean way.
    Well done!

By the way, thanks for joining in on the challenge. I hope you had fun!
