Giddy Up! It's Stampede! - Epiphany Crafts Project

Happy Friday!!!

Today - I get to share with you my next Epiphany Crafts project with you! This week, we're featuring Helmar products, and I had the opportunity to use Helmar Quick Dry Adhesive and the Glue Runner.  They are both fabulous products!

For my project, I decided to make something cowboy-ish, because here in my hometown (Calgary) - the largest outdoor show on Earth - called the Stampede, just started tonight.  This festival runs for 10 days - and there's all kinds of entertainment, including rodeos, music concerts, live night shows, and fireworks.  There's tons of rides and games - a fun event for everyone.  This year, my two kids are actually going to be in a parade tomorrow morning, so they are super excited about it!

I made a cowboy gift set, using the Sasparilla collection from October Afternoon.  I love this - everything about it is PERFECTLY CUTE!!!

Isn't it cute? The bag is taken from the Vintage Rosettes SVG Kit.

I put a little 3D star inspired from Tamara (Happy Life, Crafty Wife) onto a rosette, added some jute twine loops and ta-da! It totally made it look western!

I made some star embellishments using the Epiphany Crafts Star Shape Tool, and was perfect!

Look at that adorable cowboy! Howdy!

... and here's the star box, from Stars and Stripes Box SVG Kit. I just LOVE burlap and canvas.. and goes so well here! (You are going to be seeing A LOT more burlap projects from me... as I have a HUGE burlap order in various colors! I'll share them with you as soon as they are in my hands!)

That's it! Hope you like!

Okay, a couple of things with ya:

1.  Don't forget to pick up the all new latest kit from SVG Cuts - Classic Gift Boxes SVG Kit.
Just like my project above, you can embellish these simply gorgeous boxes into your liking!

2. My crafty friend, Tamara from Happy Life, Crafty Wife (for those that know both of us, you know how she's a SUPER good friend of mine... and DID YOU KNOW? that I'm getting together with her in 13 days in Chicago to attend CHA, and to see Leo and Mary... and to stay at their house?)

Anyway, she's opened up HER store - Paper Play Studio - and she's selling the prettiest and yummiest flair buttons EVER! If you haven't seen this yet - go check it out now! :) (Click here for FB page)

She's having a Grand Opening Special - BUY 2 sets, Get 1 FREE with coupon ILOVEPPS.  Once you see the store, I'm gonna warn you in advance... it's gonna be REALLY hard to only pick 3 sets.

She's also doing a FABULOUS GIVEAWAY - so be sure to check it out here.

3. I'm noticing a decrease in my blog and FB traffic...

and it may be that it's summer and people rather be outside than to sit on their computer all day.

Or, if you prefer to not follow me (it's a little sad, but I can handle it :) )

BUT if you DO like my crafting and DO want to follow me, and DON'T want to miss out on my projects - please subscribe using the button on the upper right corner :) Also, if you are a follower of my FB page, hover over the 'liked' button and make sure that 'show in news feed' is highlighted :) (Apparently with the new FB changes, even if you 'like' the page, only 10% of the followers actually get all the posts. So... if you've 'liked' other pages, and haven't seen it lately - that's the reason why! :) )

Thank you so much! I enjoy what I do, and I hope that you enjoy it, too!

That's it! Have a beautiful day, everyone!

  4. Love it! Thanks for sharing and love the use of burlap. Bummer about the blog and FB traffic. It is really depressing when you post something and see that only like 20% of your followers saw it.
