MY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT......

It is with mixed feelings that I have decided to resign from the SVGCuts Design Team this evening.  I have enjoyed my time being a part of this exciting, growing company and have made numerous friends.  I loved working with their wonderful SVG files and creating something beautiful to share it with you.

However, I have decided to step away, and enjoy more time with my family (I think that I've neglected my husband way too much! LOL!) and when I do have time to craft, I want to focus more on making something special for my kids', especially for their birthdays or making crafts with kids :)  I also have many things that I would love to learn - photography, sewing, baking, working with digital images, and now Copic markers (which I just ordered!)  I will be able to have more time to concentrate on areas that I want to pursue.

Thank you so much for supporting me for the past 10 months as an SVGCuts DT member.  It was an amazing opportunity, and I wish Leo and Mary all the best, and I hope that you continue to follow my crafting through my blog and my Facebook page.  I will still try to use SVGCuts files, along with others that I may find along the way, and will hope to remain good friends with you all :)

Thanks again, and good luck to the new SVGCuts Design Team member (I am assuming that there will be one :)

  6. Thienly - sorry to see you leave the DT but I totally understand where you are coming from. About 10 years ago, I was a part of 3 different design teams. While I loved it, I felt I lost touch with the reason I started scrapbooking in the first place - so I stepped away.

I'm a follower of your blog and will continue to be - you have an amazing talent and I can't wait to see what you do next.

    Wishing you all the best!

  8. I think the demands and deadlines of being on a DT can be stressful and take a toll on family life, especially with 3 kiddos and a hubby working long hours... I'm looking forward to seeing your creativity expands in new mediums! (so jealous at the copics! LOL ;-))
And BTW I don't see why this would change anything in your followers'devotion. We are here because you are a wonderful person with an awesome creativity, not because you design stuff for a company or another... ;-)

  14. I'm glad you are realizing that you need to spend doing what YOU want to do. I see nothing but blue skies for you my dear. Your talent as an artist is the ONLY reason you are at the top of your game, not any ONE company is responsible for that, YOU are. I just can't wait to see you sweep all the lettering delight challenges! I see nothing but offers from business savvy companies, that will value your opinion and ideas on venturing through this ever changing digital world. I love you and you won't lose me ever. xoxo
