Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope that everyone had a great New Year's Eve.

I don't have any projects to share with you today, but here's few things:

1.  SVGCuts are retiring some of their freebie files at midnight tomorrow (Jan 2nd) so make sure that you download them now!  Once they are gone, they are GONE!  Here's all the files to be retired.

2.  SVGCuts are announcing two new Design Team members later today, so stay tuned.  I have a pretty good guess at who they are and these two crafters are AMAZING!  So excited that they are joining me on the Design Team.

3.  My family booked a vacation to Southern California from Feb 9th - 22nd and we're super excited.  We're doing everything including Disneyland, Sea World, Legoland, Universal Studios, Wild Animal Park, Hollywood...  I would also love to go shopping for crafty things...  So - if you are in that area and can give me any advice/tips on anything - good places to go, how to save money, cool stores (especially scrapbooking items), cheap stores, anything - let me know!

Anyway, may this year bring happiness to all of my friends here :)

So. Ca huh? You know.. I live in so. Cal ;) A bit too far from Disney, etc. though. One thing I would suggest 'The Butcher Shop' in San Diego is faaaaabulous! Also, gotta go to the outlets! http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=76 Also In San Diego! Great shopping!

    Have fun! :)

  2. Congrats on being on the design team! I was checking out your blog and had to tell you that you do amazing amazing work!

I live in SoCal but no real tips on where to buy crafty stuff. I think there's a huge store in LA that sells craft items. I think it's called AC Moore. I have never been there though. Also, yes try the outlets. There's some in Carlsbad (going to San Diego, Lake Elsinore, and near Palm Springs). I live closer to the ones going toward Palm Springs. They are the Morongo outlets but not sure what they are really called. :) Have a great trip out here!
