First up is MY FAVORITE project for this hop...
using the new Fashionista witch... Tabitha!
(artist: Tracey Malnofski)
(artist: Tracey Malnofski)
Isn't she amazing?
She's a classy witch - so hard not to love her!
I used twine to do her hair,
jute twine to bring out the dimension in the broom,
added glittter to her dress and a hat...
and used wooden stars to bring some of them out.
This sentiment comes from You Witch! itty bitty.
Next up is a cute 'lil Snow Peeps release -
Also from Tracey Malnofski!
For this one, I really wanted to emphasize on the cute snowman making the angel path.
So, I added some 'dimensional snow' to the rest hoping to create that effect.
Perhaps, you can see it better below!
This was made using the Christmas ornament file found HERE.
Oh, and I don't know if you notice,
but I tried to lift off his sweater and his hat off the page a bit to make him look chunkier :)
You can see the rest of the new snow peeps here!
The next one is a super simple card using the current KOM.
If you don't know what it is, or to sign up - click above :)
I wanted to keep this clean,
but add some 'umph' to the card.
I created a window to the card,
layered it with the window sill, clear acetate, vase, and a fabric curtain :)
Lastly, but not least, is a card using the current SOTW!
(This was up on the Unity blog, but just haven't had time to post it here)
This is not usually my style..
as it's only my second ever card that I used splattered ink on,
but am very happy with how it came out!
I love that weaved white cardstock that I picked up at Jo Ann's during my trip to the US.
It adds so much!
The butterfly is made using adhesive fabric -
I sprayed it with various mists,
and after drying, I stamped the image on it.
Anyway - that's it!
Don't forget to COMMENT,
check out the SALE -
and now I'm sending you off to our fabulously creative Alyssa!

You are really kind of amazing, each of these is like a little work of art. My faves are the first - amazing piecing and I love how you incorporated the trims/fibers, and the last, that mesh ribbon, the splatter, it's just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAll really great cards!!! I like all the little details, making every one of those cards just a little bit more special!! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI am ALWAYS inspired by your work!!! You are amazingly talented. I love the broom and hair on the first card. That second card is just ADORABLE! The dimensional snow makes it pop!! And I really love the simplicity and beauty of that last card. Great work, Thienly!!!
ReplyDeleteThienly, you definitely have a HUGE talent for this as these projects are just amazing. The witch card ... oh my ... where to begin ... from the twine hair, down to the pumpkin ... talk about CREATIVE!!! WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the fibers on the witch card. Love the shaped card for the snowman making snow angels. Love the window card. Love the texture and fabric butterfly on the SOTW card. LOVE them all.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this witch today on the Unity website, I said to myself, she needs to be combined with the "you say witch like it's a bad thing" sentiment. And here you are, beating me to it! Great witch with her baker's twine hair and glittery dress! Love all your cards. Your splattering (which is NOT you usual style, you are right) turned out very nicely, and I love that butterfly wing. Your snowman is also adorable!
ReplyDeleteAs always the attention to details in your cards really gives them that extra something. Love the twine hair the best - I think.
ReplyDeleteFantastic cards! Love the witches twine hair and aparkly dress! Very creative! TFS
ReplyDeleteLove it all! The witch and snowball are so cute! I really like the door card. The sentiment is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are so fabulous! I really like the window card and the SOTW card. I can't wait until I get my SOTW-I may have to card-lift your idea of putting some fibers behind it ;-)
