I'm sure most of you know me by now, but I love to keep up with all the new tools and things and I keep on buying and I have so much that I possibly cannot accomplish everything even if I don't get any sleep. Kinda pathetic, isn't it? To want so much and not have the time for it. But, I'm the type that if I feel like playing it with one day, I want the option to be able to do it. So, this is why I buy... For those that have been following me on Facebook, you've seen all my new toys - papers, ribbons, buttons, i-bond, Distrezz-it-all, Copics... (and I just ordered a Silhouette!) and I haven't touched it yet, only to take pictures. I am sure if I had the time all day, I would've gotten around to it, but when I start my crafting time at 9:30 at night, most of the times, I end up doing what I feel comfortable, and not having to get instructions out. Okay, but I WILL use all these things - it just takes time :)
So - last weekend, I pulled out my Letterpress for the 4th time since I purchased it back last November. Believe it or not, I LOVE this machine. I love the colors, clean and simple look it produces, and how easy it is. BUT the clean up is another thing. It takes as long to clean up as to make the cards. The ink gets on your fingers, and you HAVE to use their wipes or it won't come off. No baby wipes, no oil, no dish soap. These wipes feel pretty dry, but wow - it works.
Anyway, so here are my cards that I made:
I love this background printing plate - it's from the Holiday set. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday - yeah, I know it's a sad card :(
This is my FAVORITE printing plate and it's from Celebrations set. This sentiment is also from Technique Tuesday, and I stamped on vellum paper and wrapped around the card with white cardstock underneath.
Grad card - both are from Celebrations set and the other Congratulations card is from Wedding set. The sentiments in both of these cards are letterpressed. I added silver "dot" to the grad cap and added rhinestones to the ends of the curves in the other card. Pretty!
And, here's the last card. Another pretty sentiment from Technique Tuesday (LOVE this company's stamps - can you tell?) and added in a twine-tied felt pink heart on the side <3
That's it! Off to play with other toys now!
I'm loving these....they look very chic!
